On October 3rd in Tallinn, The Disc Golf Company, led by Hristo Neiland, signed a notary agreement to acquire a majority stake in the disc golf platform Disc Golf Metrix. Founders Marko Saviauk and Mikko Juola will continue as minority shareholders.
The Disc Golf Company’s plan is to maintain, improve and refresh the Disc Golf Metrix platform – adding new features, game formats, player-based data, payment solutions and more. By the 2026 season, users can expect to see many of these updates live on the platform.
Commenting on the deal, Hristo Neiland said: “The process took some time, but I am grateful especially to Marko Saviauk, who believed in the Metrix 2.0 vision. Our team’s goal is to bring fresh energy to Metrix, add new expertise and continue growing as Europe’s number one disc golf platform. We want to make it more playful, more functional and even more exciting. Most importantly, we will build on Marko’s great work and take the platform to the next level.”
The Disc Golf Company, based in Estonia, owns the GRAM Discs brand, launched at the 2025 European Disc Golf Festival. With Disc Golf Metrix, the company aims to become a leading player in European disc golf equipment and technology in the coming years.
Disc Golf Metrix, founded by Marko Saviauk, is a platform widely used by players and tournament organizers, from weekly games to major competitions. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
